Ayana Jean Whitaker was born August 16, 1992, in Poway, Calif… daughter of Fay and Walt Whitaker… father played basketball at Moorhead State… has one brother, Walter, who competes in track and field at Cal State Fullerton… elected to transfer to LMU because it is a gorgeous campus, has a great coaching staff, and is close to her family friends… is a former LA Clipper cheerleader… volunteered her free time with Mercy Worldwide, which provides relief and care to those in need, and to inspire, educate, and motivate those in underprivileged conditions… a studio arts major.
